Comprehensive Service Procedure

Remove and clean bars

Clean pilot assembly - adjust if necessary

Clean and inspect heat exchanger and flueways

Clean ignition system - adjust if necessary

Clean flame failure system - replace if necessary

Check all joints and seals

Re-assemble boiler - check operation and flame picture

Check gas pressure to manufacture's recommendations
- adjust if necessary

Check all electrical controls i.e. programmer/time switch
and thermostats for correct operation and safety

Check circulating pump(s) for correct operation

Check plant room ventilation

Check fire valve for correct operation and condition of
firewire, if fitted

Test and check boiler plant for correct operation

Controls re-set to customer's requirements

Note and list any replacement parts and/or further work required

Carry out full gas soundness

Check header tank and cold water supply tank for correct operation

Leave boiler plant room in clean and tidy condition
