Comprehensive Service Procedure

Remove burner from boiler

Clean primary air combustion fan and housing

Replace burner nozzle this correct size and angle

Clean electrodes, check spark plug - replace if defective

Check flame failure operation and safety cut off

Replace burner oil filter element(s)

Clean all boiler flueways up to and including the first flue bend

Clean combustion space

Inspect refractory brickwork (report if defective)

Refit burner, fire up and test

Carry out full combustion test and record results

Check fire valves for correct operation and condition of firewire

Check boiler plant room ventilation

Check all electrical controls i.e. programmer/time switch
and thermostats

Ensure boiler plant room is left in a clean and tidy condition

Operate header tank and cold water supply tank vall valves
for correct operation

Replace oil tank filter element, if fitted

Check oil line for leaks
